Happy Tree Friends Blog!

This is an unusual event! I'm blogging when I'm in a good mood. But anyway, here's the latest...and the reasons for the happy blog day!

(I'm not sure why but I always do things in lists on my blogs now....clears the mind)
1. The timetabler asked me where I had been lately rather than grunting at me today. Said he hadn't seen me around in a while...whoa!
2. The other school grunter cleared my photocopy number out of the copier when I was on the other side of the staffroom and neatly stacked my copies and then polite said, "Your copies are there Melanie" when I came back...and I didn't even think he knew my name...whoa!
3. My year 8 class were reasonable in period 6 when we were silent reading and I am so glad I changed that class around...rather than trying to battle with them after they have had GF for SOSE.
4. I told the D/O that I wouldn't be here in a few weeks for the whole week and she was fine with it...and I cleared my conscience about my dodgy plan I thought I would have to go through with.
5. Then she told me the job they are going to specially tag for me for 2006 is ongoing...whoa...whoa...whoa! (What's new pussycat?)
6. Then she asked me what I wanted that tag to be....but she decided Media/SOSE/English
7. Then she said they aren't advertising that one in the Age, just on the system...to make it easier for me.
8. Then she agreed that the way I had been told by the Principal that my job was up was not good enough and she totally understood why I went for that interview over the holidays!
9. MY DESK IS TIDY!!!
10. Brenton just emailed and the book draft is slowly coming together!

So I am going home a happy woman!
I hope someone wins on Deal or No Deal tonight...
