Bloggety Blog!

Don't really have much to blog about today, but thought while I am sitting here online I should enter the realm and write something.
Have registered for the VATE state conference yesterday and went for a few really interesting sounding things. Will no doubt Blog after that.
Interesting observation today: Noticing a new teacher to the school who was once energetic, go-getter, over the top with enthusiasm, now starting to sound flat, lifeless and negative about our school. Clearly something is being sucked out of these people, the same as it was sucked out of me last year. What is it about my school that does that? How can we change it? Can we change it at all?
Report writing at the moment and decided to skip the handy commentbank and type my own comments this time. May prove more time consuming but at least I will be saying real things, rather than safe and secure mumbo jumbo like last year. (I was a bit concerned that I might say something innappropriate, whereas now, I know what can and can't be written in reports).
Put in a formal complaint against one of the painters who is making inappropriate comments and making some female staff and stuents feel uncomfortable with his lingering looks- so hopefully he won't be back again!
Another day done.
Bye for now,
M x

What a boring blog. Nothing profound here.

PS. One can post comments on one's own blog. In-ter-est-ing!

Boring? Obviously, whoever you are 'M', you cannot see the brilliance in this particular blog! ;)

What sessions are you going too? I'm thinking about the critical literacy strand? But it is long - but that is also part of the attraction - my frustration with these conferences is that there is never enough time to get to know people and chat wif em.
