For the first time...

I tried to leave my job this month. Unsuccessfully. And whilst it wasn't entirely my intent, I am proud that I have seen something through, even during the very difficult times. Usually, like Julia Roberts in 'Runaway Bride', I am a runner. When things get tough, I'm arrogant enough to know I can get a job relatively easily elsewhere. That is what I attempted to do here. But I am proud, for the first time, and feel that I have learnt a valuable lesson, about sticking things out when they are tough. And so I will stay.
