I'm counting, believe me!
In fact, the countdown started at day 15, and when it is only a 40 day term, that's quite sad really.
I'm just finding this program so tiring, absorbing and it's making me lethargic.
I'm not really motivated because anything I put in is never returned. When my collegues are away, they just expect me to pick up the slack. I don't feel that this is fair. So, I'm having Wednesday off.
We have not had any planning time. We don't have much meeting time. Meeting time is taken up with whinging and complaining. It is unconstructive feedback.
We are slowly reverting back to the old way of doing things- 1 teacher, 1 group of studnets and this is working, but defeats the purpose of sticking 55 kids in one classroom. The students are responding better to this for teaching time. Perhaps when it is project, student directed time, then the large group will be beneficial.
It is very noisy. Always. Even at lunch.
Create has gone back to the old way. I have no desire to teach the students anything. They are so unmotivated. Access to resources, camera etc. is a huge issue becuase everything is so disorganised.
I'm not ready to go back to the old way yet, but I need to see an improvement in this way soon.
And then we found out the computer server had a meltdown...sorry staff, no network!
Until next blog,

Sorry it is so exhausting for you M. That is the stuff we are dealing with at them moment. The logistics of the whole thing and the lack of resources. Interesting.
